Historic Preservation at Fort Ritchie

Corporate Office Properties Trust holds a deep appreciation for the history of Fort Ritchie. With an anticipated investment of $256 million for redevelopment, our intent is to be a good steward of the land and buildings on this former military installation. A generous portion of this investment will go toward creating new uses for historic buildings.

Our goal is to maintain the beauty of the land and its lakes; restore historic buildings with visual integrity; and carry on the spirit and values of past people who have called Fort Ritchie their home.
