The Project
As COPT rebuilds the infrastructure of this site and develops new office, retail and residential opportunities, a live-work-shop-play community will emerge that will offer the very latest amenities while preserving the historic and bucolic charm and attraction that is Fort Ritchie at Cascade.
At completion, Fort Ritchie will have 1.7 million square feet of office and retail space, including approximately 850,000 square feet in a restricted business campus. The community will include a historic district, a community area with recreational amenities, and several residential neighborhoods offering 673 homes in a variety of price points and styles, including condominiums, townhomes, single family and custom homes.
Since assuming ownership of Fort Ritchie in 2006, we have undertaken significant improvements that include sewer, water and communications systems upgrades, and we have commissioned a number of studies to measure adequacy of roads and of gas and electric service.
Fort Ritchie will offer a variety of amenities within the community to create a premier live-work-shop-play environment, which will likely include:

We're working hard to maintain the historic charm of Fort Ritchie and to take full advantage of the beautiful natural features for recreational amenities, while offering state-of-the-art commercial space, a range of residential options, and convenience-retail shops and services.
